This Friday is our 80’s dress up day.  With this student council sponsored theme day, we encourage all staff and students to join in the fun and wear clothing inspired by the fabulous decade of the 1980s.

Kindergarten parents, did you know that the school lunch is available for your child, not only on Wednesdays, but every day of the week.  If they qualify for the Free Lunch Program or if you pay for their lunch, the student can eat a nutritious meal every day.  With the morning Kindergarten students, you can bring your child to the lunch room after you pick them up from the classroom.  For afternoon students, you can bring them a little early before their class starts and have them eat lunch.  Please call the school for more information or if you have questions.

¡Padres de familia de kínder, sabían ustedes que sus niños pueden almorzar en la cafetería, todos los días de la semana, no solamente los miércoles! Todos los niños de kínder, los que pagan y los que reciben el almuerzo gratis, todos están bienvenidos a obtener un almuerzo nutritivo todos los días. Los niños del turno de la mañana pueden ir con usted a la cafetería al terminar la clase, antes de ir a casa. Los niños del turno de la tarde, pueden llegar a la escuela antes de las 12:15 y usted puede llevarlos almorzar antes de comenzar las clases. Por favor llamar a la escuela para mas información o si tiene alguna pregunta.  

¿Recibe usted las llamadas telefónicas de los viernes?   

Si no las recibe, por favor hable a la oficina y asegúrese que tenemos su número de teléfono correcto. Las llamadas le ayudan a estar al tanto de los avisos y eventos escolares.

A new state law, which takes effect for the beginning of the 2011-12 school year, now requires ALL students who will be in grades 7-12, to be immunized against Whooping Cough.  Proof of this Tdap vaccination must be submitted prior to the start of the new school year, which begins Thursday, August 25, 2011.

Students will NOT be allowed to register or attend class until showing proof of having received this vaccine.  Students who have been given a Tdap shot on or after a 7^thbirthday will meet the school immunization requirement by providing proof of immunization.
